World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) Branch Following the Belt and Road Initiative was established in Beijing on March 25^th. 235 delegates who represent 464 founding member units from all over the world attended the meeting. And the first council of WFCMS Branch Following the Belt and Road Initiative was elected on the conference.

Changping Declaration was adopted on the conference, and WFCMS Branch Following the Belt and Road Initiative will uphold the spirit of the Silk Road including peaceful cooperation, openness, inclusiveness, mutual learning, mutual understanding and mutual benefit. The WFCMS Branch Following the Belt and Road Initiative will grasp the key links of TCM, promote the creative transformation and innovative development of TCM and promote the development of health industry.

Keji CHEN, the academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, said that The TCM should be integrated with the traditional medicine of overseas countries and achieve common development to comply withthe development of the Belt and Road.
