“Sweet things - Ancient scribes charm and outstanding exhibition” was carried out at the Three Gorges Museum

Since ancient times, there has been a tradition of incense in China. For thousands of years, under the impetus of literati, "incense" has become one of the indispensable essences of Chinese traditional culture.

 

In order to inherit the Chinese culture, ancient scribes class's spiritual life and artistic classical, on August 7th, the "China's Three Gorges Museum and the Chongqing Kowloon Aloes Museum jointly sponsored the " Sweet things - Ancient scribes charm and outstanding exhibition." It will be exhibited at the China Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing, focusing on more than 100 pieces (sets) of collections and works of art related to the fragrance culture.

 

The exhibition is based on Tang poetry and Song poetry. It is divided into three units. From the three dimensions of spices, incense and fragrance, the exhibition shows the charm of the ancient scholars. Through the charm of poetry, it fully demonstrates the culture of ancient Chinese culture.

 

In addition, through interspersing with the interactive ways of making incense, using incense and smelling incense, the exhibition helps participants to fully experience and understand Chinese incense culture.

The exhibition will last until October 8.
