Recently, Hengshui City announced the fifth batch of municipal intangible cultural heritage representative list, Anping County a total of four categories of six entries into the list.

Our county has a long history and profound cultural heritage. It not only has rich material and cultural remains, but also has many precious intangible cultural heritages. In order to protect and inherit the intangible cultural heritage, through the declaration, organization review, expert review and other links, the county folk literature(the legend of the holy Gu), traditional music (pipe playing skill), traditional sports, entertainment and acrobatics Classes (Tiandi people three talents and eight palms), traditional skills (Maweiluo weaving traditional handicrafts, traditional branding hot process, Liuzhuang craft wood carving) 4 categories of 6 traditional cultural projects, selected for the fifth batch of municipal intangible cultural heritage representatives projects list.

These intangible cultural heritages are the precious spiritual wealth and wisdom of our county, and also the treasure of Chinese civilization. Protecting, inheriting and utilizing intangible cultural heritage is of positive significance for inheriting and carrying forward the fine cultural traditions of the nation, continuing the Chinese culture, enhancing national unity, and promoting faster and better development in our county. So far, there has been one intangible cultural heritage project at the provincial level, seven at the municipal level and seven at the county level.
