The series selected about 60 books that can reflect the academic characteristics and diagnosis and treatment skills of the Longsha doctors in the past, mainly based on the series, supplemented by writing, focusing on historical materials, editing by volume, and independent writing. Longsha Medicine originated from the Huashi area of Jiangyin, Wuxi, originated from the Song and Yuan Dynasties. It was an important genre of TCM in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. It has been extended for hundreds of years since the end of the Song Dynasty and has been passed down to the present and its academic features were distinct.

The main features of Longsha Medicine are as follows. First, it attaches importance to the clinical application of the five-transport and six-gas theory of "Yellow Emperor's Internal Classics"; second, it attaches importance to the "Treatise on Febrile Diseases", and uses the theory of the six classics and combines the identification of physical fitness to guide the application of the prescription; third, it is based on the theory of kidney life and uses the cream to cure the disease.
