The researchteam leaded by Wu Changwen in Zhejiang Ocean University has decoded the wholegene sequence of Pseudosciaena croceasrecently. It has set up the genome map of Pseudosciaena croceas and analyzed the genomefeature of their innate immunity system. This research achievement waspublished on Nature. It is the secondgenome map of marine fish after cynoglossus semilaevis gunther which announcedby China. Besides, it is the first genome map of sciaenidea which lifts thecurtain on the research of Pseudosciaena croceas’genomics. It may solve the problem in the breeding of Pseudosciaena croceas.

Wu Changwen saidthat their researches would focus on much more other immunogenes, expoundingtheir function in immune pathways, analyzing their propotion on premonition andfinally detecting the differences of immune genetic constitution between wild Pseudosciaena croceas and cultured Pseudosciaena croceas. The adequate analyzation of Pseudosciaena croceas’ immune genetic informationwould be benefit to find the immune genetic loci which are relevant topremonition. It is expected to nurture one new strain of Pseudosciaena crocea which has strong immunity andhigh premonition congenitally through the aggregation and breeding of immunegenetic loci and excellent allele.
