China Developed the First 2014 Gene Mutation Type Ebola Vaccine In the World
On December 25th, Ministry of National Defenseof the People’s Republic of China held a regular press conference. Yang Yujun, thepress secretary of Ministry of Defense, said that the third medical team toSierra Leone and the second medical team to Liberia would go to alternate inthe middle of January in 2015. The research team of Academy of Military MedicalSciences has developed the first 2014 gene mutation type Ebola vaccine. And theclinical trial would be carried out on December.
As for the latest progress of Ebolavaccine which was developed by Institute of Hygiene and Environmental Medicine,Academy of Military Medical Sciences, the research team started a new vaccineresearch on the foundation of previous studies after the outburst of WestAfrican Ebola epidemic. This vaccine has been adminited by nation and militaryand it would be carried out clinical trial on December. This is the third Ebolavaccine to be applied to clinical trial and the first 2014 gene mutation type Ebola vaccine in the world.
