The first provincial intangible cultural heritage list of “station troopsdance” training courses officially opened in Xuwen County from July 15^thto 17^th. The 3-day training, sponsored by the Xuwen County CulturalCenter, is aimed at cultivating a batch of intangible cultural heritage inheritors of a certain cultural knowledge, excellent cultural and artistictalents.

It is understood that the“station troops dance”is a spread unique Taoist folk dance of the Han nationality in Xuwen County, as well as a combination of local culture and Taoism. Its scope is very broad, such as material object,education, art, religion, ethics, customs and so on, everything all encompass. Over the years, the People's Government of Xuwen County has actively supported and helped to better inherit the intangible cultural heritage with national characteristics. On the basis of excavating, collecting and sorting, a series of feasible measures are adopted to make this endangered intangible cultural heritage project to be reborn and get an extension. The “station troops dance”was selected in the fourth batch of intangible cultural heritage list in Zhanjiang City in 2012, and selected in the fifth batch of intangible cultural heritage list in Guangdong Province in 2013. Farmer Lai Hong`e was listed as the fourth batch of Guangdong Province intangible cultural heritage list “Xuwenstation troops dance inheritor”. Xuwen County was one of the counties at the top of the provincial intangible cultural heritage list in terms of quantity.

The “station troops dance” training was declared successful by Zhanjiang City of the fifth batch of Guangdong Province intangible cultural heritage list project in December 2013. In view of the current endangered situation of the intangible cultural heritage and combined with the actual situation of Xuwen County, the training courses used the theory and practice of singing, actual operation, etc. and invited local experts for vivid images teaching.

Xuwen County Culture Center curator Sun Yingtao said that this training was very timely and in accurate.Through this training, Xuwen folk artists generally felt the pride and responsibility as the intangible cultural heritage inheritors, and they have new awareness and understanding of the intangible cultural heritage protection work.
