Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival in Qingdao Opened
On February 15th,2016,Laoshan Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival was opened in Laoshan’s Century Square.With the principle of “highlighting the features,be close to the masses”,this festival had organized more than tentraditional culture activities,such as Square Art Performances,Yangko Competitions and so on,for the majority of community residents would become“leading roles”.Thus it could make the festival close to the masses and fully display local cultural characteristics.
As the first plate activity of Laoshan Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival in Qingdao,Shandong,the folk art festival selected14 local folk teams to perform.Among them,the century- old dragon-liondances,stilts,land boat teams had added fun and excitement. Drum teams displayed their creativity,drum features,rhythm coordination and the queuetrans formation. The match was highly ornamental and expressive,giving theaudience the enjoyment of both visual and hearing,especially the contagious Mou’scommunity harmony drum team with diameter of 2.0 meters of drums. In the folkart form with a strong local flavor and Laoshan region characteristic,themarvelous performances of land boat and race donkey dance had made the audiencefeel the charm of traditional culture and created the happy and peaceful festive atmosphere.
It was to be observed that more and more children were becoming inheritors of numerous intangible cultural heritage projects due to “intangible cultural heritage into the campus” activities.In this activity,there were dozens of children from which has becoming abeautiful scenery line.
It was learned that apart from the intangible cultural heritage performance on the 8th day of the first lunarmonth,Laoshan District will also hold Riddle-Guessing Activities in Laoshan CivicCultural Center on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month and the 5th folkdance competition on the twenty-third in Century Square. There will be 30 folkteams and dancing masters from all walks of life competing and communicating with each other.
