On April 8^th, 2018, the selection of the Sixth Batch of Municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage List of Changzhi was finished. The 46 county-level intangible cultural heritage projects, such as bonesetting of TCM declared by Lixin Truama Bonesetting Hospital, ceramic storage crock craftsmanship declared by the Shanxi Taihang Ceramics Co., Ltd, have been selected into the municipal intangible cultural heritage list of Changzhi City, Shanxi Province.

It was understood that the declaration of the Sixth Batch of Municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage List of Changzhi started in July 2017. The declaration projects should have important historical, literary, artistic and scientific values, show the typicality and representativeness of excellent traditional cultural creativity, have the characteristics of inheriting and live in a certain group or region and great influence on the local. After preliminary screening and demonstration, experts from the Municipal Bureau of Culture and the Municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage Center conscientiously reviewed them.

The List includes 46 projects of 8 categories, including folk literature, traditional dance, traditional drama, quyi, traditional art, traditional handicraft, traditional medicine and folk custom. Up to now, Changzhi City has 285 municipal intangible cultural heritage projects of 6 batches.
