Qinghai’s 11 Intangible Cultural Heritage Is Included in the First Batch of National Traditional Technology Revitalization Catalogue
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued the first batch of National Traditional Technology Revitalization Catalogue recently. 11 intangible cultural heritage projects of Qinghai Province, such as the embroidery of Tu nationality, the embroidery of Huangzhong County, Tibetan carpet weaving techniques of Jiaya Village, Tibetan clothing making techniques, Tu nationality’s clothing making techniques, the production techniques of the Huangyuan lamps, Heri Temple’s stone carving of Zeku County, Tibetan watchtower construction techniques, the Salar nationality’s fence building construction techniques, the silver bronze ware making and gilding techniques and the Regong Art, were included.
It was reported that since the implementation of “China’s Traditional Technology Revitalization Plan”, the Qinghai Provincial Culture, Press and Publication Department has actively promoted the traditional technology revitalization and done agreat deal of work in the protection, inheritance and development of the traditional technology projects combining with practice. Besides, in conjunction with the Qinghai Provincial Finance Department, the Qinghai Provincial Economic and Information Committee, it set up “Guidelines on the Implementation of China’s Traditional Technology Revitalization Plan” to further clarify the significance, overall purposes, basic principles, main tasks and organizational support of the Qinghai’s traditional technology revitalization. It also implemented “China’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritors Training Program”in depth to hold 24 training courses in the Shanghai University, Qinghai Normal University, Qinghai Nationalities University and other universities. More than1300 people were trained. In 2016, the traditional workstation of the Shanghai University in the Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture was set up. With the help of the resources of Shanghai University, it wanted to help the traditional craft enterprises and practitioners to improve the creative ability, solve the technological problems, improve the products’ quality, cultivate the brand and expand the market.
