The second Saturday of June is “Cultural and Natural Heritage Day”. In order to fully publicize and display the protection and inheritance achievements of Liuzhou’s intangible cultural heritage, Liuzhou City has carried out cultural activities around June 9^th.

It showed the achievements through the ways of the intangible cultural heritage and folklore performances, the art shows of intangible cultural heritage projects, the excellent exhibitions of the intangible cultural heritage projects.

In addition, Liucheng County, Luzhai County, Rong’an County and Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County and other Districts also organized inheritors to do the performances and organized various intangible cultural heritage exhibitions.

At present, there are 479 intangible cultural heritage projects in Liuzhou City, including 4 national and 67 provincials (including 4 national projects),122 municipal and 290 county-level projects. Besides, there are 514 representative inheritors, including 6 national, 83 provincial, 165 municipal and 266 county-level inheritors. There are 19 municipal representative inheritance groups of intangible cultural heritage. Also, there are 54 platforms for the protection of intangible cultural heritage, of which 31 are identified as the provincial ones. Furthermore, the Dong cultural ecological protection area of the Dong Autonomous County of Sanjiang and the Miao culture ecological protection area of the Miao Autonomous County of Rongshui are included as the provincial cultural ecological protection areas list.
