Recently, the Jiaxing Municipal People's Government issued the "Notice on the Publication of the Sixth Batch of Representative Items of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Jiaxing City". A total of 51 intangible cultural heritage projects were included in the sixth batch of municipal projects. Among them, eight projects including the production skills of Zhangpu Braised Lamb belong to Haiyan County, becoming the second most  in the number of heritage projects.

The eight intangible cultural heritage projects selected from Haiyan County cover four categories of traditional dance, traditional art, traditional crafts and folk customs, all of which have unique values and expressions. So far, 1 national intangible cultural heritage project, 8 provincial intangible cultural heritage projects, 32 municipal-level intangible cultural heritage projects and 62 county-level intangible cultural heritage projects of Haiyan County have been successfully selected into.

After the publication of the list, Haiyan County will continue to dig and sort out these projects, formulate and implement corresponding protection plans. Meanwhile, in combination with the construction of the list at the township level, Haiyan County intangible cultural heritage list system will be improved step by step, and the list system will be used to clarify the protection responsibility and implement protection measures, so as to make Haiyan County intangible cultural heritage full of vitality and go further.
