According to the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Regulations on the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Jiangxi Province", the sixth batch of representative list of intangible cultural heritage at the municipal level of Nanchang was officially released on September 12 through general survey, application, evaluation and publicity.

A total of 25 items were included in the sixth batch of representative intangible cultural heritage list at the municipal level, among which Youmin temple legend was included in the folk literature category. Quyi category has Nanchang drum selected. Four items including Hongzhou porcelain carving, new wood carving and Nanchang embroidery were selected.

Twelve traditional skills were selected: Sugar-blowing man, Shibu noodle making technique, Shitoujie mahua making technique, Nantai rice wine brewing technique, Chxi preserved pepper making technique, Wenzhen banfeng making technique, Sanjiang radish pickles making technique, Yuzhang marinated sauce making technique, Nanchang rope weaving, etc.

From September 6th to 10th, 2019 National Intangible Cultural Heritage Folk Art Week was held in Jinan, Shandong. Donghu District Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Project - Nanchang Qingyin participated in the performance.

Nanchang Qingyin is a folk song art of Nanchang, singing forms can be divided into three types: sitting singing, walking singing and standing singing. In 2010, it was listed as the intangible cultural heritage protection project of Jiangxi Province.
