At the site of 2015 IntangibleCultural Heritage Activities themed as “Colorful Xiaoxiang" in Shaoshan,Hunan Province, “Carved Preserved Fruit” was showed and it was profuse inpraise.

 

To celebrate the tenth national "Cultural Heritage Day" (June 13th,2015), Hunan Provincial Department of Culture, XiangtanGovernment have co-sponsored the exhibition. In the 14 exhibitionhalls of Shaoshan  Intangible Cultural Heritage Exposition Park, cultures of different nationalities across theprovince get together to debut, which are in total 113 items, 310attended people and 2421 exhibits on display. It  canbe regarded to be the largest event of HunanIntangible Heritage in recent years. Items including Jingzhou Carved Preserved Fruit,Channel Dong Jin, Zhijiang Yuanzhou Stone Carving, Xupu Huayao Cross-stitch Work and other intangible culturalheritage projects on behalf of Huaihua to takepart in the exhibition. Except forthe selection of exhibits,related pictures, texts andvideos, inheritors have also showed talent at the exhibition, givingthe audience a unique feast of intangible cultural heritage.


In addition tothe exhibition of intangible cultural heritage,activitiesincluding folk culture paradeand forums on intangible cultural heritage protection and market-oriented usinghave also been hold.
