Recently, the well-known finger inkpainter Deng Rongming in Jiangsu province was named as “Intangible CulturalHeritage Inheritor” by China Association of Fine Arts(CAFA). When he won thecertificate, Deng Rongming told the reporters: "Intangible culturalheritage memories the national history and it is the essence of nationalculture as well as the symbol of national wisdom and the crystallization of thenational spirits. What I hold is not only an honor, but also a push to fingerink painting art inheritance and development of the heavy responsibilities.”

Deng Rongming was born in June 1955 inYixing, Jiangsu Province; he is a member of Jiangsu Artists Association, director of ChinaInternational Artist Association, member of United Nations Artisits Association and distinguished lifelongpainter of ChineseInternational Painting and Calligraphy Art Research Institute. Over the years, Deng Rongminghas a open vision of arts and he is diligent and be good at thinking. His oilpainting, gouache, watercolor, picture-story book and other painting techniquesare proficient, especially be good at finger ink painting. He learns wildlyfrom others, attaching great importance to learn from some giant artists, suchas Gao Qipei`s “pure, miraculous, simple and vigorous” in Qing Dynasty, PanTianshou`s “antiquity, precise and concise” in modern times, andgradually formed his own “elegant, strange, powerful, and outside reveal charm”finger ink painting style, what made his artistic achievements impressive. Hisfinger ink painting works have won many prizes in the national painting andcalligraphy exhibition, hundreds elaborate works were collected by relevantorganizations, institutions and individuals around the world. His performancehas been specially reported by the China Youth Daily, Wen Wei Po,Xinhua Daily, Jiangsu TV and many other news media and was awarded as “WorldChinese artists” and other honorary titles.

A performer evaluated that when DengRongming was painting, he played and gave a wonderful music for people all overthe world.
