On January 12^th, 2018, the Putian Municipal Bureau of Cultural, Broadcasting, Television, Press and Publication announced the sixth batch of municipal intangible cultural heritage list of Putian, a total of 37 projects. The period of publicity lasts 15 days, from January 12^th to 26^th.

It is reported that, to further strengthen the construction of the Putian intangible cultural heritage projectslist, the Putian Municipal Bureau of Cultural, Broadcasting, Television, Press and Publication has organized the recommendation, declaration and review work of the sixth batch of municipal intangible cultural heritage list from June2017 to January 2018. All counties (CMC) recommended a total of 58 projects.

Through the conditional audit, on-site evaluation and expert review, the sixth batch of the municipal intangible cultural heritage list has been drawn up, a total of 37 projects, including 22 newly selected projects, 8 expansion projects and 7 new protection units.

The 22 newly selected projects cover 5 categories. The folk literature category includes The Legend of Longhua Temple in Xianyou County. The traditional techniques category includes 14 projects, including Putian snack production techniques, charcoal banked tea production technique, Guyi red wine brewing technique and so on. The traditional medicine category includes Yu’s traditional prescription for eliminating pain. The folk custom category includes 4 projects, including praying custom in Jinsha Palace. The 8 expansion projects include clay sculpture of Buddha, stone carving, jade carving and so on. The 7 new protection units include Fujian Hongying Craft Co., Ltd and so on.
