On April 26^th, 2018, the Shenzhen Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association held the commendation conference on the intangible cultural heritage protection work in the intangible cultural heritage museum of the Futian District, Shenzhen City. It was learned that at present, Shenzhen has 59 representative intangible cultural heritage projects above the city level.

Among them, there are 32 projects above the provincial level and 8 national projects.The commended 15 advanced units, 16 advanced individuals, 16 outstanding representative inheritors and 12 outstanding disseminator are the best.

The outstanding representative inheritors include CHEN Rongzhong of Jia’s Point Percussion Therapy, WU Tianqi of Lantern Dance in Shatouyu Town, XIE Yuqiu of Kirin Dance in Dachuankeng Village, CHEN Biansheng of Guo’s Bonesetting Skill and so on.

It was understood that, under the leadership of the municipal party committee, the municipal government and the competent departments, and under the support of the cultural departments of each district, the Shenzhen Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association has been committed to carry forward the traditional culture with Shenzhen Media Foundation, the intangible cultural heritage protection funds, the district offices, the colleges and the enterprises, to publicize the achievements of the intangible cultural heritage protection by various forms.
