The Third Batch of Representative Inheritors of Chizhou Municipal ICH Projects Were Announced

Recently, Chizhou City, Anhui Province officially launched the declaring work of the third batch of representative inheritors of Chizhou municipal intangible cultural heritage projects. On June 14th, according to the recommending declaration, qualification examination, evaluation and demonstration, 29 people, such as PENG Hongmei, DU Yunfeng, were selected into the representative inheritors recommended list.

 

It is reported that the selected representative inheritors covered traditional music, traditional dance, traditional drama, traditional art,traditional techniques, traditional sports, entertainment and acrobatics and folk custom categories, including Guichi Folk Song, Maotan Sacrificial Activities, Meijie Mulian Drama, Wushi Lion Dance, Chizhou Local Opera, Qingshan Temple Fair, Lishan Wushu and so on.

 

It is understood that up to now, there are 72 representative inheritors of Chizhou municipal intangible cultural heritage projects, 27 representative inheritors of provincial intangible cultural heritage projects, and 5 representative inheritors of national intangible cultural heritage projects. Besides, there are 51 intangible cultural heritage projects above the municipal level, 27 intangible cultural heritage projects above the provincial level and 4 national intangible cultural heritage projects.
